19th C. Japanese Cloisonne Enamel on Bronze 12 Lidded Box, Meiji Period

  
This over sized box has a round shape with slightly rounded top and is decorated with multi-designs over the entire body. The background color is a very deep blue which contrasts nicely with the colorful fans and other decoration.
