Antique Japanese Meiji Style Signed Elephant and Tiger Okimono Group

  
This cast bronze model of an Elephant being attacked by tigers (the one on it's back is missing) is known as an okimono group. This particular group was probably made in the early 20th century circa 1920 and is marked on the stomach of the elephant for the maker. Condition: Missing the tusks and one of the tigers that would have been on the elephant's back.

Height 6 3/4 Inches 17.1 cm. Width 6 1/2 Inches 16.6 cm. Depth 3 3/4 Inches 9.6 cm.
