Super Antique JAPANESE 19th C. MEIJI Art Nouveau Floral BRONZE VASE Signed TAKAO

  

A wonderful antique Japanese Meiji Art Nouveau floral bronze vase, signed Takao. This eye catching Japanese late 19th century bronze vase is an interesting piece as it is a true Japanese example of art made in the European Art Nouveau movement style showing three fabulous trumpet flowers with their highly detailed hand hammered leaves around the body, the three curving stalk handles applied in unique free-form style leading to the trumpet flowers in a circle at the top of the neck producing a very striking one-of-a-kind vase!

The underneath is signed'Takao zo' (made by Takao) who was a reputed Meiji period metalworker. The vase measures approximately 9 1/4 inches high and is about 5 inches across at its widest point. The vase is in general very good condition with all over wear. There is some deterioration/ or s casting fault hole on one of the flowers.

There are no dings or dents. Please check all the pictures.
