Antique Japanese Meiji Period Patinated Bronze Koro with Elephant handles. A true piece of Japanese history. The Koro was originally used for burning incense and has a flat rimmed opening that allows for incense dispersion. This traditionally made bronze dates from the late 19th century (Meiji period), it's in excellent condition with original dark aged patina. Measures 8" wide x 5.5" high.Please note, this is a vintage item, and as with most vintage pieces there may be signs of wear.
